Banana Chocolate Chip Blender Muffins

Well, if you have a blender then I’ve got the perfect recipe that will take you less than 15 minutes to pop into the oven.
This quick and simple muffin recipe can be whipped up in a snap and only requires a few ingredients to result in a tasty treat.

What you need to make Banana Chocolate Chip Blender Muffins
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 overripe bananas
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1/4 cup whole milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided, roughly chopped)
How to make Banana Chocolate Chip Blender Muffins
Start by preheating your oven to 350º F then line a 12-muffin cup tray with cupcake liners.
In a medium-sized bowl whisk together, sugar, light brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and flour and set aside.
In the carafe of a blender, add bananas, butter, egg, milk and pulse until just combined. Be careful not to over-blend. With the blender on low, add the dry ingredients, cover and blend until combined. Turn blender off and stir in 3/4 cup chocolate chips.
Pour batter into muffin cups, dividing evenly. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the tops of the batter. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown, or until toothpick pulls out cleanly when inserted into the center.
